 ALISON THOMPSON – SENIOR PRINCIPALAlison Thompson is a chartered planner with over sixteen years experience in town planning, within New Zealand and the United Kingdom. She graduated from Sheffield Hallam University and holds a BA (Hons) in Planning Studies and a Bachelor in Town Planning. Alison is also a full Member of the New Zealand Planning Institute and the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI). Alison has been involved in many large-scale developments throughout New Zealand and has developed specialised skills in project management. She typically acts as lead consultant and project manages multi disciplinary teams from project formulation through to securing the necessary RMA authorisations. She has a thorough understanding of statutory planning and resource consent process which enables her to effectively represent and meet the commercial needs of her clients. Alison has a broad range of experience in the retail, office, residential, tertiary education and housing for the elderly sectors throughout New Zealand. She has also successfully overseen the national rollout of several key retailers across the country. |
