Roger McDonald - Associate

ROGER MCDONALD – PRINCIPAL

Roger McDonald is a planner with twelve years experience in town planning. He holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science Degree and a Masters of Planning Practice, both obtained from Auckland University. Roger has held resource management positions in local government organisations and private sector consulting. Roger is a full member of the New Zealand Planning Institute.

He has a sound knowledge of development, statutory and strategic planning which enables him to provide professional advice on a range of planning issues.

Roger’s experience in preparing and project managing plan changes and larger resource consent applications provides him with an excellent understanding of the Resource Management Act, District Plan processes and related statutory frameworks. His experience working in a local authority environment is also a valuable asset in terms of managing relationships with local authorities and other stakeholders in the planning process.
